maximum monthly duty cycle of 750,000 impressions,
the 7085 is a true production class product. Building
on the legendary durability of the Konica 7075, the
7085 brings enhanced finishing capabilities and new
scan server functionality, including scan-to-email. The
7085 features Konica’s unique Simitri™ Polymerized
Toner Technology. Simitri provides visibly superior
image quality with better text and halftone output
when compared with conventional toner technology.
When equipped with the optional IP-602 print controller,
the 7085 adds powerful network print functions.
Konica also has a range of application software
available through our authorized solution provider
program to support requirements ranging from electronic
forms to legacy datacenter print support. The

Konica 7085 Features
Based on Successful 7075 Engine:
This advanced production printing system is based
on the highly successful Konica 7075. A workhorse
with universal metal drawers, easy touch screen, it
uses
Simitri™ Polymerized Toner, and reaches a
higher toner yield of up to 60,000 impressions. In
addition, the 7085 has an even higher maximum
duty cycle than the 7075, increased to 750,000
impressions per month.
Real-time/Dual Scanning Technology:
The 7085 is equipped with a sheet-through scanning
process. Originals scanned face up from the document
feeder pass over the fixed scanner, reducing moving
parts while improving performance and reliability.
Originals scanned from the platen remain stationary
while the scanner moves across the platen.
Electronic recirculating Document Handler (ERDH):
With 128 MB of standard memory (ERDH), and a
maximum of 512 MB, originals are received and
stored as compressed digital data for scan-once-printmany
and unlimited set production.
Production Finishing Capabilities:
The 7085 is the perfect tool for professional printed
documents. Production features such as driver-based
mixplex and tab functionality and advanced finishing
capabilities including saddle-stitching, booklet
making and 100-sheet stapling (FS-111 only) makes
this production printing system the most advanced
that Konica has ever offered.
Large Capacity Paper Trays:
With the Konica 7085 there are two LCT options,
the LCT-402 and the LCT-412 capable of holding
paper size up to 12” x 18”. Each four thousandsheet
tray increases paper capacity from 2,150
sheets (including 150-sheet bypass) to 6,150 sheets.
IP-602 Print Controller:
Add connectivity and a wide range of new functionality
to the 7085 with the new IP-602 print controller.
The 866 MHz Processor with 64 MB standard memory
(512MB MAX) enhances the 7085 production finishing
right from the desktop, and new scan to Email, FTP
and HDD functionality directly from the control panel.
